Water resistance varies with fabric and seams. Unless a hydrostatic rating is stated, treat the jacket as water-resistant for snow, sleet and light rain rather than for prolonged downpours.
Machine wash cold on a gentle cycle (or hand wash) with mild detergent. Zip all zippers first. No bleach or fabric softener, as it can dull the waterproof finish. Hang to dry away from direct heat; do not dry clean or iron.
